Having just been honored by Shoe Palace on its low-cut counterpart, the adidas Forum Hi “Lakers” continues the celebration of the NBA’s most storied franchise.
Arriving in its traditional ’84 build, the pair adds in further retroelements, including an aged-look leather construct, and athletic-inspired textiles at the collar and tongue. Jersey-like tags are tacked onto the tongue, while ’84 embroidery at the heel presents in PE-styling. Shaggy purple suedes at the Three Stripes further develop the throwback theme, as to does the pre-aged midsoles and heritage gum rubber outsoles to complete the design.
