The evergreen adidas Forum is often at its most innovative when guided by the hand of its collaborative partners. But on occasion, the in-house design team gets to flex a little creative flair, just as they’ve done here on this new moccasin-like “Clear Brown” colorway.
Harnessing a heritage look associated with native Americans — both north and south — the pair looks to tonal earthy hues throughout its entirety. Cream uppers work with light tans and chocolates in a slew of textiles, including woven hemp mid panels and laces, soft suede at the quarter, and unbuckle scattered throughout. From there, Adidas applies tack-stitched tongue tags, as well as further threadworm across the mid panel and forefoot in blood-red that give the pair a hand-made aesthetic. All of this rests atop a tonal light tan sole unit to complete the design.
