Recently appearing in audacious efforts like the Simpsons “Duff Beer” and Bad Bunny’s completely retooled collaborations, the silhouette is slowly shifting back to basics, though it’s not quite losing sight of its premium appeal. This next pair, the adidas Forum Low “Satin” is just that, arriving with an elevated aesthetic that is suited towards the lady wearer.
Sitting atop a simple all-white sole unit, the pair’s upper arrives clad in the titular textile from toe to rail. Opting for a champagne hue throughout, the tonal approach is worked across every panel — including the tongue and strap branding — before reaching the pair’s decorative stitch detail at the lateral heel: a myriad of muddled Trefoil motifs embroidered in black. The medial side is left blank to fit the overarching theme of the release, while black reappears once more on the insole branding to complete the design.
