The adidas Forum has been subject to some wild and whimsical schemes over its storied past, from the early days of Jeremy Scott to the more recent collaborative efforts from Kerwin Frost. In contrast, its mainline efforts have tried to balance the bravado of the aforementioned, keeping this mostly classical in their approach. However, on occasion you’ll find the in-house design team getting a little playful on the iconic silhouette — just as they’ve done on this new adidas Forum Low “Slide” for 2022.
Though its construction is fairly simple — a sail and grey leather build with tonal sole units— there’s a party going on on top — and it looks like it’s a damn good time. Sprinkled across the lateral and medial side is Trefoil men having a slide. Yep, the little purple, green, blue, and yellow figures are taking a ride down the big dipper, arms flailing and all. There’s no shortage of movement motifs, as even the tumbling ankle Trefoil is shown to be in motion. The pair is finished with some subtle details, including TPU Three Stripe overlays, and sleek satin liners.

In other adidas news, Jeremy Scott will debut his fourth Wings sneaker in 2022.
