The marquee Three Stripes model of 1984 has been thrust back into the spotlight thanks to a helping hand from the likes of Beyonce and global retailers like BSTN and END, as well as some stellar in-line releases like this beautiful indigo-dyed drop. But really, the big push forward of the adidas Forum has come from a bevy of Instagram mood boards who have been pushing the white-based, 80s hoop shoe aesthetic for a minute, mostly centered around the New Balance 550, Air Jordan 1, and Dunk. This next adidas Forum Low “Snakeskin” will slot into that aesthetic with ease, thanks to its use of classic white leathers, and post-worthy snakeskin accentuations — even the insole detail dons the scaly finish.

The vintage appeal is real, and we’re tipping that the thirst will be for these, too — but it may be a while before that thirst is quenched. Pairs are dropping on February 13th in Asia, though a wider, global release is yet to be confirmed.
