It’s fairly evident by now that adidas is banking on the Forum to boost the brand’s retro footwear bottom line in 2021 — and from all reports, it’s doing its job and more. Helped along by collaborations from Beyonce, Bad Bunny, and a bunch of retailers, the silhouette’s follow-up mainline drops have hit, too. This next pair included.
Arriving in a staple white leather build, the pair then opts for an unusual pairing of University Blue and Forest Green in a semi-split blocked arrangement. Greens, found mostly on the upper half of the shoe, hit the liner, tongue, laces, midfoot strap, and a few pops of suede at the ankle. The lower half is reserved for the powder blue hue, arriving on the midfoot Three Stripes, heel clip, and outsole — the latter featuring a final hit of green at the forefoot.
