After a stacked 2021 season, the adidas Forum is looking to find new ways to stay relevant in the new year. Collaborations from Prada and Bad Bunny have got that covered, as too does their mainline run of general releases, with options like this new adidas Forum Mid “Animal Print” leading the charge.
Though the title does suggest a bevy of faux prints, it’s not these finished that provide the most striking visuals; it’s the bold Fragment-like mix of black, white, and royal hues used that champion the pair, with the titular prints arriving with considered restraint. Save the bold Zebra print at the collar, the pair’s leopard, cheetah, and (insole) cow prints are all subtly done, and when used in conjunction with a white-piped, black and blue leather overlays, they take the back seas. All of this boldness is countered by a simple all-white sole unit underfoot, and a staple white and black Trefoil tongue tag to complete the design.
