Despite a first round-exit in the 2024-25 NBA Playoffs, James Harden and his Los Angeles Clippers put up a fight. Ahead of the new campaign, the point guard's Adidas Harden Vol. 9 has appeared in a new "Uno Chain" edition.
Earlier in the year, product information of the NBA All-Star's ninth signature sneaker covered in "Silver Metallic/Core Black/Flash Aqua" surfaced, adding another tally to the design's growing roster. A representative of the Three Stripes' Basketball branch, however, confirmed to House of Heatº that this particular style wouldn't see a retail release, suggesting the tri-colored style is part of the Harden Vol. 9's Player-Exclusive (PE) lineup.
A speculative mock-up using the brand's color description depicted the unreleased sneaker with a shimmering upper, which was eventually confirmed through official Adidas product photography. The inner bootie and mesh bases peaking out from the shell-like upper keep things simple in "Core Black," while the tried-and-proven outsole presents "Flash Aqua" flair similar to a recently-surfaced Adios Pro 4 marathon racing shoe.
The pair is officially dubbed the "Uno Chain" Harden Vol. 9 and is expected to release in November for $180.
Firm Adidas.com release details have yet to surface, but that will change as fall inches closer. In the meantime, enjoy detailed shots of the Harden Vol. 9 below.
Away from the hardwood, the Three Stripes continues to energize its Adidas Originals division with compelling inline and collaborative products.
