Adidas and BAPE are back with another collaboration, this time diving deep into the skateboarding culture of the 90s with the introduction of the N BAPE.

The N BAPE features a robust, chunky build that echoes the skate shoes of the late 90s and early 2000s, characterized by oversized stripes and thick laces that add to its bold appearance. Each shoe is meticulously crafted, reflecting a blend of functionality and streetwise flair that both brands are celebrated for.

Distinctive elements include an all-over camo print on the sock liner, a nod to BAPE’s signature aesthetic, and the APE HEAD logo debossed on the lateral quarter, ensuring the collaboration's presence is felt. The BAPE STA logo on the heel adds another layer of branding, tying back to BAPE's extensive history in influential streetwear.

The N BAPE is released in two earthy colorways: "Sand" and "Shadow Green." The Sand variant interplays shades of tan, brown, and green across its suede panels, perfectly complementing traditional skate parks' outdoor, rugged vibe. In contrast, the Shadow Green version simplifies the color scheme, focusing on deeper, more uniform green tones to deliver a slightly more understated look while maintaining the collection’s core identity.

These shoes do not just celebrate the era's aesthetics but are designed with the performance needs of skaters in mind, reminiscent of Adidas’s historical skate models like the Adimatic and Norton. Their sturdy construction and supportive design ensure they’re not only great to look at but also hold up in the skate park.

Available on April 18th at 7 AM PST/10 AM EST on the Confirmed App.
