Ozweego, here we go!
The Ozweego revamp continues the Three Stripes pursuit to revive their classic silhouettes into modern-day favorites — like the Yung-1 and Nite Jogger — as their primary focus for the brand’s future. Next up, it’s a reworking of the 90s Ozweego trainer. It’s already surfaced in a slew of colorways, from basic black to a wild iridescent iteration, to bold rainbow-soled offerings— and even a cocaine-white “Nose Candy Mandy” makeup for Pusha T‘s recent Coachella performance. But now it looks like adidas will dabble in the high saturation side of the color wheel, with this vibrant volt-green and black pair surfacing online today.
The deconstructed-style upper rocks the same overall shape as the OG runners, but equips the pair with new design elements like stripped-back overlays, and translucent wrap-around lace tubing, and overly-aggressive sole units. The latter is packed-full of adiprene cushioning for modern-day comfort, with hi-vis elements incorporated into the overlays for low-light visibility.
You will find adi’s next heritage-inspired sneaker to arrive later this Spring. Stay locked into HOUSE OF HEAT for all the details as they arrive, but until then, enjoy a detailed look at one of the silhouettes debut pair below, and be sure to tune into our adidas Release Calendar for all your Three Stripe drop dates!
