    After the first looks at the adidas Ozweego “Reflective Xeno” arrived back in March, I was hooked. The silhouette had yet to touch down, but I was already in love. Since then, we’ve seen a long-winded run of colorways, regional exclusives and it’s first collaboration — but there was still no sign of the Xeno — until now. adidas has just dropped the sneaker on their official website, and it’s available right now.

    It pulls its nickname from the upper’s wild reflective detailing, which bounces off multiple colors when hit by light — the boldest feature of the predominately black sneaker. The deconstructed-style upper rocks the same overall shape as the OG runner it’s based off, but equips the pair with new design elements like stripped-back overlays, translucent wrap-around tubing, and overly-aggressive sole units. The latter is packed-full of adiPrene cushioning for modern-day comfort. It’s butter leather uppers are a nice change from the oft-used nubuck and mesh, and really hones in on that 90s vibe.
