The Three Stripes empire continues to show mastery over performance and lifestyle offerings. The latter is spearheaded by the Adidas Originals division, which keeps finding ways to reinvent the ever-popular Samba. Ahead of summer, the label has unveiled two more Long Tongue (LT) styles for Women.
Clad in spring-friendly pastels, both editions of the old school football trainer blend sports heritage and modern fashion via their build and color scheme. The folder-over tongue differs from some of the Adidas Samba's most popular looks, but harkens back to important football boot designs from the expansive Three Stripes Archive. The T-toe also opts for its traditional suede build, which also lands on the profile 3-Stripes and Achilles' heel overlay.
"Clear Pink" and "Wonder White"-colored leather sets the stage across the impending drops. (The latter could match with an Inter Miami jersey, available now.) Contrasting tones emerge via the aforementioned components, as well as the semi-translucent outsole. Together, each element on the heritage-inspired designs help create a familiar, but refreshing sneaker option.
