The grandaddy of modern footwear back! Inspiring the likes of such icons including the Superstar and Stan Smith silhouettes, just to name a few, the adidas Samba has been the biggest-selling sneaker in adidas history, and although we haven’t seen it for a minute, it still has a huge fan base in Europe and throughout South America.
Originally released in 1950 as an indoor soccer training shoe, this seven-decade-old silhouette has stayed true to its roots and — unlike most 70-year-olds we know – is far from retiring, returning with two new additions for 2020. The pioneer of low-cut kicks returns with its legacy unchanged, both featuring buttery leather and soft suede uppers sitting on top of classic gum-rubber soles. The two options arrive in a striking black with yellow, and a light-and-bright white with baby blue and neutral suede toes. Completing these classic pairs are OG blue tongue branding and quater gold foil to cement their legacy in today’s ultra-futuristic market.
Expect these two options to be released on adidas.com in time for Easter for the unbeatable price of $80 apiece. For further updates on their release, make sure you’re following us on Twitter.
