Adidas Adds Breathable Mesh to Two Samba OG Releases

Adidas is again elevating its iconic Samba silhouette with two new colorways that skillfully bridge the gap between seasons, offering a fresh take on the classic model while catering to the rising temperatures. Available now on Adidas.com, these latest iterations adapt with material changes suited for warmer months yet retain an autumnal color palette that adds a touch of organic warmth to the timeless design.

Adidas draws inspiration from the resurfaced Adidas Tischtennis, a 1970s tennis shoe known for its open mesh base, which influenced the new Samba designs. Unlike the Tischtennis, the Samba incorporates an additional layer beneath its mesh overlays, compromising breathability and structure.

First in the lineup is the adidas Samba "Cardboard/Chalk White," which brings a contemporary palette into the mix. In contrast, a "Crystal White/Preloved Red" brings a more recognizable color blocking back to the silhouette.
