Aside from notable collaborations, all has been quiet for the adidas Superstar in 2021, but that was kind of expected given its huge 50th-anniversary celebration last year. There are still some low-key heaters appearing, though, with this next-up “Cream White” colorway a prime example.
Arriving in soft nubucks of the titular hue, the pair is then equipped with tonal Shell Toes and sole units, while laces and chenille liners follow suit. Buttery white leather Three Stripe and heel overlays play off the pair’s perforated tongue, the latter of which features a signature Trefoil-on-blue finish. Branding elsewhere arrives in gold foil, including the lateral ankle’s sizing detail, and the pair is completed by premium leather insoles.
