adidas is doing it all for the Superstar’s 50th anniversary, with collaborations from big names like Human Made, 424, and Prada leading the charge. Its in-line releases are backing up the big names with bangers, too, with drops like this deconstructed duo to this elegant debossed number. Next up for the half-century-old sneaker is those “Solar Yellow” adidas Superstar — something a little less overworked than the aforementioned but by far the boldest.
Simplistic in its approach, the adidas design team have split the sneaker into two distinct sections: the classic white sole/shell toe unit, and an all-out volt assault on the upper. In fact, there’s not a single deviation from the Solar Yellow finish, with branding and overlays all painted in the highlighter shade. Capping off the design is a retro-inspired graphic insole.
