The humble Superstar has been here, there and everywhere thus far in 2020 that perhaps it deserves a little vacay. And — if there was no current COVID crisis — there would be no better place to be right now than on South Beach. And that’s apparently what the Three Stripe design team had in mind when they took to this cleanly-constructed “South Beach” adidas Superstar that’s tipped for release this Spring.
Arriving in an all-white leather base, the pair adds in tonal Three Stripe branding at the midfoot, tonal Superstar lettering at the quarter and — you guessed it — white heel overlays in the rear. Luxe leather liners add a nice touch, but almost go unnoticed thanks to the bold gradient branding at the tongue and heel, and tri-color heel ribbon in the classic SoBe combo of black, pink and teal. Capping off the exterior is a classic white sole and shell toe unit, and the pair is complete with ultra-80s graphic insoles.
