For adidas fans — or just sneaker fans in general — one can’t look past theadidas Superstaras one of the all-time sneaker staples, and perhaps for this reason the Three Stripe design team loves using the silhouette for their more expressive designs. Further proving this point and that art is subjective is a quad pack of paint-spattered icons.

At the barebones of all four colorways sits the quintessential Superstar that so many are fond of, identical construction of a smooth leather upper, rubber shell toe cap, and solid rubber outsole creates the solid foundation. First up on the breakdown we are presented with a predominantly all-white design which creates the perfect backdrop for the red, green, yellow, and blue paint droplets which covers everything aside from the sole and toe cap. Secondly, presenting a black leather upper the paint spatter effect now uses tan, khaki, and orange hues which resembles an almost camouflage effect. Thirdly, using the same black leather upper base as the previous look, only the three stripes, and heel overlay adorns the artistic flare. Last but not least the near triple white Superstar only displays the multicolored paint flecks, like the last model, on the Three Stripes and heel panel, completing all four feature solid white rubber toe caps, sole units, and gold tongue branding.
