The adidas design team has always had a pleasure flexing their creative muscle in 2020 on one of the ultimate Three Stripes’ blank canvases, the Superstar. This time around they’re focusing their sights on a duo featuring monochromatic stylings and 3M high-vis reflective tech to attract new hype to the silhouette and keep the mega fan base satisfied.

Arriving in two colorways, this latest duo presents with the typical hallmarks that make the Superstar an iconic sneaker, premium leather uppers, rubber clamshell toe caps, and solid rubber sole units. The duo only varies in appearance, firstly, leather upper dressed in black differs only for the reflective paneling located on the heel, medial, and large Trefoil branding, a color blocking crisp white adorns the shell toes and sole unit. Secondly, where the aforementioned was black is now white with reflective overlays changing its position which results in an almost ying-yang appeal when compared side by side, toe cap and soles remain unchanged between the two.
