adidas TERREX teamed up with LA’s outdoor-driven Usal Project to elevate a hiking shoe launch into a full-blown cultural moment on the night of August 23. Called “Chase the Sky,” the event brought together movement, music, and moonlit views, all in celebration of the brand-new Skychaser AX5—a hiking silhouette designed to live seamlessly between the city street and the rugged hillside.
More than 350 adventurers, sneaker fans, and outdoor creatives gathered at The Usal Project’s HQ for a golden-hour hike through the Hollywood Hills. As day turned to dusk, the group arrived at the Griffith Park helipad, where LED headlamps lit up a dancefloor under an LA sky. Local DJ and producer Hayes Bradley soundtracked the scene in shadow and glow, turning the mountaintop into a moment that blurred the line between performance and party.
Most attendees laced up in adidas TERREX gear tailored around the Skychaser AX5, putting the shoe’s hybrid design to the test in real time. Its performance-ready build hit every switch—from paved trails to city sidewalks—showing off its versatility in a way that no press release ever could.
It was a night where movement met music, and the trail became the dancefloor. For adidas TERREX, the event wasn’t just a product launch—it was a stake in the ground. The Skychaser AX5 isn’t just built for hikes—it’s built for moments.
