Available Now // adidas Ultra BOOST DNA Prime “2020 Pack”

With the 2020 Tokyo Games now pushed to next year, sneaker brands have been left in limbo with a slew of planned Olympic releases. Some draw more obvious ties to the event than others, like this Olympic torch-branded ZX Torsion, whilst others like these two adidas Ultra BOOST DNA Prime “2020” sneakers could easily slot into the annual scheduled unnoticed.

The all-new silhouette boasts a careless upper, with weaves harkening back to the OG Ultra BOOST 1.0, with added tweaks at the heel, tongue and midfoot. The latter sees Three Stripes woven into the upper in place of the traditional caging, whilst heel striping is reminiscent of the aforementioned Olympic ZX Torsion. Tongues now sit free across the vamp, whilst heel clips and sole units arrive stock-standard. Aside from the “2020” branding on the tongues, the only other callout to the game is the Japanese-themed red and white palate, with an accompanying monochromatic pair to boot.

A release date is still yet to be announced, but product pages have been loaded up on adidas.com sites around the globe, so you should expect to see a release very soon.
