adidas Ultra BOOST “Heatmap” is Heading Your Way

Once a red-hot commodity amongst sneakerheads, the Ultra BOOST linage has since cooled in its maturity stage — but that doesn’t mean that the Three Stripes has been putting a stop to some fire colorways. And this next-up release is literal heat: the adidas Ultra BOOST “Heatmap”

A theme seen on sneakers few and far between, adidas has employed a heatmap graphic finish atop an otherwise straightforward arrangement. Jet black mesh uppers link into tonal black BOOST and matching outsoles, with liners, laces, heel clips, and caging following suit. The latter two feature colored accentuations of teal and barely green respectively, but almost go unnoticed thanks to the upper’s vibrant heat spots that work from blue to green, to yellow to red across select areas. Smokey translucent overlays rest at both the forefoot and tongue, and the pair is completed by heatmap-matching insoles within.
