Are we seeing the return of the OG Ultra BOOST? After news dropped earlier today that the OG “Solar Yellow” is making a comebackcomes another announcement: The “Solar Red” adidas Ultra BOOST 1.0 OG is also returning next month. And I’m all for it.
Originally released back in 2015 during the infancy stages of the shoe’s subsequent mega-hype status, the bold orange-red BOOST joined the Solar Yellow as the line’s most audacious early on. Now, five years on, we’ll be seeing a retro of both colorways on October 3rd, as per Nice Kicks.
Expected to arrive in all of it’s OG glory; the pair’s blazing red-orange hue offset by the signature Ultra BOOST 1.0 woven pattern, matte black caging and heel counters, stark white BOOST midsoles, and a black rubber outsole. Look out for the adidas Ultra BOOST 1.0 “Solar Red” to touch down for the second time on October 3rd, 2019 alongside the aforementioned “Solar Yellow” OG at select stockists and adidas.com for an expected retail price point of $180.
Update 09.20.19 Euro retailers 43einhalb have the pair pegged for release at midnight on the 3rd of October, which equates to 6:00 PM EST on October the 2nd for those of us Stateside.
