Houston's own The Better Generation has teamed up with adidas and creative Andu for a special edition Predator Sala centered around community, creativity, and the global reach of football.
Named the "Grassroots" Predator Sala, the collaboration draws inspiration from the idea that growth starts locally. Rooted in Houston's diverse cultural landscape, the project explores how sport, style, and storytelling can connect people across cities, countries, and backgrounds.
The design reflects that message through thoughtful details. Contrast stitching across the upper mimics longitude and latitude lines found on a globe, symbolizing connections between communities around the world. Earth-toned overlays represent the foundation and challenges that accompany any creative journey, while vibrant green suede panels nod to growth, opportunity, and success.

Adding to the story, each pair is individually numbered out of 1,248 — matching the number of players set to compete at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Better Generation also enlisted 26 creators to produce a range of accompanying collectibles, a reference to the 26-player rosters that will take part in the tournament.
The collaboration extends beyond footwear, with community-focused activations planned throughout Houston. Following an appearance at a Houston Dynamo FC match earlier this month, the campaign will continue on June 20 with a local soccer tournament, penalty kick competition, jersey customization station, and watch party.
The Better Generation x adidas "Grassroots" Predator Sala releases June 20 exclusively through The Better Generation's retail locations and online. Pricing for the collection ranges from $135 to $299.
