PJ Tucker x Nike GT Future PE Releases Summer 2026

Fresh off announcing his retirement from the NBA, PJ Tucker and Nike Basketball are set to continue their ongoing partnership with another collaborative release, this time centered around the Nike GT Future. Expected later this year, the upcoming Better+ x Nike GT Future follows a growing list of GT Future collaborations as Nike continues building out the silhouette through limited projects and cultural partnerships.

The release also marks the latest chapter in Tucker’s work with Nike under his Better+ platform, following the Better+ x Nike Air Flight ’89 “Sky Blue” collaboration from 2024. The project is expected to release exclusively through Better+.

The GT Future itself has already seen several collaborative introductions throughout 2026. Earlier this year, Wale released his own Nike GT Future collaboration, while the Ducks of a Feather's Nike G.T. Future also dropped exclusively via Flight Club. Tucker’s pair now joins that rollout strategy, helping position the GT Future through a mix of music, fashion, and basketball culture before wider inline launches fully ramp up.

While early reports suggested the release would be limited to around 2,000 pairs, sources now indicate the project is expected to be significantly more limited than originally believed. The pair currently circulating online is also understood to be a sample and not the final retail version expected to release later this year, meaning details and finishes could still change before launch.

As for the design itself, the Better+ x Nike GT Future PE is expected to feature a Hyper Pink and Action Grape base paired with hits of White, Black, Metallic Silver, and multi-color accents. The silhouette continues Nike Basketball’s Greater Than series, focused on lightweight responsiveness and explosive movement.

An official release date for the Better+ x Nike GT Future has not yet been announced, though the collaboration is currently expected to arrive later this year in very limited quantities.
