Yohji Yamamoto Returns with an Undyed Version of the adidas Y-3 Forum High

Before we get our hands on the upcoming Prada x adidas Forum, Yohji Yamamoto of Y-3 notoriety has his sights set on the silhouette — and keeping in theme with the Italian fashion house, he keeps things simple.

The adidas Forum made a statement when it first stepped onto the court back in the day. Expanding on that impact, Y-3 reworks the silhouette in a minimal fashion. This version keeps all the original details but crafts the upper from undyed leather to help reduce environmental impact while giving a natural hint of a subtle, unassuming blue. The hook-and-loop strap/collar combo lets you play with a variety of looks, while its medial ankle-to-lateral midfoot zipper adds some high fashion flair. Three Stripe overlays are ditched on the lateral, while medial panels prefer stitched-on stripes, and the pair is completed by oversized Y-3 branding at the tongue and ankle strap.
