The adidas Y-3 Runner 4D Halo is Coming Soon in “Core White”

Though you might not know it Stateside, Y-3 adidas is big, big business in Asia. One of the most prolific adidas partnerships to date, Yohji Yamamoto’s confident sense of style and willingness to innovate has resulted in some of the brand’s most intriguing footwear offerings. The newly-unveiled adidas Y-3 Runner 4D Halo continues that notion, and significantly improves the line-up’s overall utility.

Underneath the 3D-printed sole, the brand has applied track-like spikes through the tread — a finish also seen on the recently-revealed Y-3 TN C1. Juxtaposing that silhouette’s bulky build, the adidas Y-3 Runner 4D Halo is streamlined both up top and underfoot and is whipped up in contemporary lightweight materials — including an exterior layer of open knit. To aid in lateral support, Yohji has added adjustable eyestay pulls on the profile, seen here in a dazzling red finish.
