Y-3 and adidas Unveil New Terrex Collection for Fall

This Fall season Y-3 continues its journey from the city into nature with a bold capsule collection that seamlessly blends the functional expertise of adidas Terrex with Yohji Yamamoto’s renegade aesthetic. Featuring two jackets and two colorways of the brand new Y-3 TERREX SWIFT R3 GTX sneaker, the outdoor-ready capsule is at once avant-garde and waterproof.

Beginning with apparel, The Y-3 Terrex offering consists of the Y-3 RUGGED GTX JACKET and the Y-3 MELTON GTX DOWN PARKA. Crafted with the outdoors in mind, the Y-3 RUGGED GTX JACKET features a GORE-TEX 100% recycled nylon plain weave construction, offering protection from the wind and rain. Meanwhile, the Y-3 MELTON GTX DOWN PARKA features a loosely fitted GORE-TEX Melton wool, nylon, and 90% goose down-filled shell. Boasting subtly placed Y-3, Terrex, and GORE-TEX silicone badges throughout, both of the seemingly minimalist jackets transform when the side pockets are unzipped, revealing pocket bags that attach to webbing tape.

Moving to footwear, the Y-3 TERREX SWIFT R3 GTX is a hybrid sneaker-boot created with outdoor exploration at its heart. Designed to provide protection from the elements, the aesthetically daring silhouette boasts a waterproof GORE-TEX lining and membrane, as well as a Continental™ rubber outsole that offers traction in both wet and dry conditions. Rounding out the look, the sneaker’s multi-purpose lace and zip closure can be unzipped to reveal a neoprene gusset underneath. Bringing the brand’s distinctive aesthetic lens to the fore, the Y-3 TERREX SWIFT R3 GTX is made available in two bold colorways: Vintage White/Y-3 Black/Bold Orange and Y-3 Black/Bold Orange.

The Y-3 Terrex collection launches globally on October 14th, and will be available adidas.com/y-3, in select adidas stores, and through select retail channels.
