Late last year, adidas took a daring step with their revered ZX 6000 by turning it inside out for an X-Ray-themed release for their colossal A-ZX collection. Fans of the iconic silhouette were divided, but ultimately the pair was a wide-reaching success. Now there are three more options on the way, each of which brings an OG colorway from the ZX’s storied lineage.
Here we see the same flipped aesthetic dressed in colorways made famous by the recently-introduced ZX 1000 and ZX Torsion, while the ever-iconic Aqua and Yellow of the OG ZX 8000 also makes an appearance. Construction-wise, we see each pair continue the design, with TPU toe, eyelet, and midfoot overlays, exposed foam heel, and toe overlays, and a bevy of exposed stitching throughout. Unlike the X-Ray pair, this trio does not opt for a graphic print at the tongue, nor do they come equipped with inverted tongue tags, instead opting for the underside of nylon and traditional placements respectively.
