In a recent expansion of its diverse collaboration portfolio, Adidas has partnered with the emerging Japanese brand ALWAYTH.
Following their initial successful collaboration on the Samba, the partnership is back with a unique take on the iconic Adidas Gazelle, this time drawing everyday inspiration for two new designs.
The highlight of these new Gazelle pairs is the use of gingham laundry bag patterns, an everyday item turned fashion statement, featured prominently on the Three Stripes. The design retains a subdued color scheme, but the influence of the gingham is carried over into the material choice, with ripstop nylon comprising the base layer. This choice enhances the shoe's durability, making it suitable for "all conditions" wear. Additional luxe touches include nubuck on the eyestays and T-toe, improving the shoe’s aesthetic appeal.
Further differentiating these pairs are storm cloud graphics on the heel and dual-tone laces, adding layers of detail that tell a compelling story of functionality and style. Set for release exclusively in Japan on May 31st, the ALWAYTH Gazelle Indoor will carry a price tag of 18,700 JPY.
