First Looks: Adidas Anthony Edwards 1 Low "Blue Burst"

Crowned Sneaker of the Year, the Adidas Anthony Edwards 1 (formerly the AE 1) will ride out the maturity stage of its lifecycle with a few last drops in the early months of 2025 — including this new "Blue Burst" colorway in the silhouette's low-top format.

The pair stays true to the shoe's established formula, featuring a sleek Core Black upper and inner bootie. The standout feature of this release is the bold "Blue Burst" hue, which covers the midfoot overlay and the shell sole. However, this is more than just a simple color block. The Three Stripes branding on the lateral sides is given a shimmering iridescent finish, creating a gel-like casing that subtly catches the light and adds depth to the overall design.

The "Blue Burst" edition has just appeared in kids’ sizes, and a release in adult sizes is also expected.

Official images have already surfaced, but a concrete release date has yet to be announced.
