First Looks // Adidas AE 1 Low "Christmas"

Anthony Edwards has quickly become a standout in the NBA, and his Adidas signature sneaker line is following suit. And while anticipation is sky-high for the unveiling of his sophomore Three Stripe sneaker, it seems that the 1 will carry us a little further into 2024, unveiling the new "Christmas" colorway.

Despite its festive moniker, the sneaker doesn't overtly lean into traditional holiday themes. According to early sample photographer @yuanchengxin1, the connection to Christmas is subtle, drawing inspiration perhaps from the icy Minnesota winters mirrored in its cool blue color palette. This crisp, icy blue dominates the shoe, complemented by flecked rubber outsoles that hint at snowy landscapes. Bold black branding on the tongue and heel adds striking contrast, rounding out a clean, wintery design.

While the official release date has yet to be announced, fans can expect the Adidas Anthony Edwards 1 Low "Christmas (Blue Burst)" to drop before the year closes, ensuring they can step into the holiday season with style.
