Collaborative kings atmos are the latest big-name creatives to deliver an effort on the adidas Superstar, joining the likes of Pharrell Williams, Jonah Hill, Prada, and Beyonce in designing something special for the silhouette’s 50th Birthday celebration.
Of course, the Asian retailers bring with them their Japanese streetwear flair — and in this case, their signature adidas styling — to the staple sneaker, and despite its bold statement uppers, it’s completed with relevant ease. From the look of the two teaser images provided by atmos director Hirofumi Kojima, there are two color options on the way, with the reflective black-based pair pictured below, joined by what appears to be a white glow illuminated further on. Koji went on to say that pairs were “coming soon” — but that could still mean a while off, considering that we’re still waiting for a wider release of their G-SNK 3 ZX 8000 collaboration.
So while we wait on further details, take a look at both options here below, and expect to learn more about their upcoming adidas.com release very soon.
Update 07.16.20 atmos has just dropped their duo of glow-and-reflective adidas Superstars, unveiling the sneaker in full detail in the process.
