Bape Applies Their ABC Camo to the Adidas Stan Smith

The collaboration between Adidas and A Bathing Ape has consistently raised the bar in sneaker culture, merging the iconic Stan Smith silhouette with BAPE's unrivaled streetwear flair.

This month, the partnership is back with their boldest statement yet.

Scheduled for release later this month, the new Bape x Adidas Stan Smith is a departure from the more restrained approaches of 2023. Last year's designs subtly incorporated BAPE's renowned ABC camouflage print, limiting its appearance to the heel tab or integrating it into the design of golf-specific models. This time, the collaboration takes a no-holds-barred approach, adorning the entirety of the sneaker's upper with the unmistakable camo pattern. In a nod to traditional aesthetics, this version eschews the molded leather of its predecessors for a smooth leather finish, ensuring the sneaker retains the classic Stan Smith profile amidst its bold reinterpretation.

This latest iteration is a testament to the enduring appeal of both the Stan Smith design and BAPE's signature aesthetic.

The collaboration is set to hit select Adidas retailers throughout February 2024, with retailers listing a drop for the 9th and Adidas Confirmed on the 11th.
