The marquee Three Stripes model of 1984 has been thrust back into the spotlight thanks to a helping hand from the likes of Beyonce and global retailers like BSTN and END who have all delivered some desirable collaborative drops. Now it’s time for Boston-based Bodega to shine on the silhouette, with the collaborative kings dishing out a highly-limited run of Family and Friends exclusives.
Previewed here by sneaker content marvel Sean Go, the Bodega x adidas Forum Hi draws heavily off the OG White/Blue colorway, though it comes with some playful twists. Blue hues now arrive significantly more vibrant, while staple adidas gold foil debossing presents both the brand logo and numbered detail at the ankle. Like the recently-released Blue Thread edition of the OG, this pair also opts for heavy use of suede — though it does dabble in a touch of snakeskin, too. Primary color pops flow through the collar and tongue, before reverting to more muted hues at the navy leather liners, mid-grey rear clips, and classic gum rubber outsoles to complete the design.
It’s unclear if there will be a retail version of the release, but if there is, we’ll be sure to keep you updated on its release right here on HOUSEOFHEAT.co.
