Edison Chen's Next CLOT x Adidas Superstar is Coming Soon

Edison Chen continues to rework the Adidas Superstar for its 55th anniversary. For his CLOT label's latest, he's tapped streetwear juggernaut A BATHING APE® (BAPE®︎) for an ultra-limited, Friends & Family-exclusive.

Unveiled via social media, the project marks the first time Chen has worked with the storied Japanese label through his Three Stripes partnership. As with some of the CLOT-frontman's other "shell-toes," the newly-surfaced style sees a premium leather build atop a dress shoe-reminiscent, serrated outsole. BAPE®︎ applies its signature all-over patterns across fabric panels, creating an asymmetrical look between left and right shoes. STA™ logos share the spotlight with 3-Stripes branding on medial profiles while other emblems denoting the three-way collaboration appear on the tongue label, footbed, collar, and Achilles' heel.

Chen has shared that the elevated pair will not release to the public. Instead, a "select few" pairs will be gifted as a grand prize for one of CLOT's activations at ComplexCon Las Vegas, held on Oct. 25-26. Friends & Family of the brand trifecta will also receive pairs.
