Donovan Mitchell's Adidas D.O.N. Issue #7 “Lucid Red” Drops this Summer

After an early preview last year, official images of another Adidas DON Issue 7 colorway have finally surfaced.

Unlike many of the previous pairs from Donovan Mitchell’s latest signature series, this upcoming release forgoes the now-familiar gradient finish. Instead, it opts for a more traditional approach to color blocking — and it's one that’s deeply rooted in basketball footwear history. Delivered in a timeless mix of red, black, and white, the design pays homage to a palette that has dominated the hardwood for over 40 years.

The pair features a predominantly black upper, with matching inner booties and a midfoot shank. A bold red overlay and sole unit add energy to the design, while subtle white accents appear on the red components to round out the classic look.

While no release date has been confirmed yet, expect the DON Issue 7 “Lucid Red” to arrive soon on adidas.com and at select retailers.
