Adidas D.O.N. Issue #7 'Eclipse' Drops Nov. 8

With the Cleveland Cavaliers just one game away from eliminating the Miami Heat in the first round of the playoffs, Donovan Mitchell continues to lead the charge — and doing so in style. A key component of his standout postseason performances has been the latest in his signature footwear line, the Adidas DON Issue 7, which has now been revealed in a striking new “Preloved Violet” colorway.

First spotted in early 2024 by House of Heat°, official images now give us a clearer look at the upcoming release. The design features what appears to be a signature element of the DON Issue 7: a bold gradient overlay. On this pair, it shifts from black at the heel to the titular violet hue at the midfoot, before fading into a creamy beige tone toward the toe.

The upper is framed by jet-black overlays across the textile, neoprene bootie, and midfoot shank, maintaining the aggressive, performance-driven look that Mitchell’s line is known for. Underfoot, a two-tone rubber outsole rounds out the design, delivering both style and traction in equal measure.

The DON Issue 7 “Preloved Violet” will release on adidas.com and at select retailers such as DICK's Sporting Goods on November 8.
