Available Now // Italian Fashion Label Fiorucci Forges a Pop Art-Inspired adidas Stan Smith

Eponymous label Fiorucci is back in business with the Three Stripe brand, once again bringing its flamboyant Italian flair. This time around, the fashion house hones in on the evergreen Stan Smith for what appears to be a Valentine’s Day drop.

On par with some of their neighboring competitors, the brand brings in pop art-styled finishes to the Stan Smith’s blank base, with the playful hues and the use of colorful characters throughout. The latter is found on both the insoles and lateral heel — a comical lizard character — asking the age-old question “What is Love?”. Appearing confused — as many of us still are — he rocks the same expression on the graphic insoles. Stan Smith appears loved-up on the tongues, decked out in a love heart pink, while countering translucent overlays at the heel pop in a soft yellow. Capping off the design is an added white heel pull in the rear, and over-branded black flat laces.
