Fortnite's Tomatohead Now Has Its Own Adidas UltraBOOST 1.0

Epic Games' Fornite returns to footwear form thanks to the Three Stripes, which has prepped a Tomatohead-inspired Adidas UltraBOOST 1.0 for summer.

Part of a Pizza Pit collection that's already unveiled an Adilette Comfort Slide, the newly-surfaced pair features a tamer presentation than other linkups between Epic Games and the sportswear juggernaut. PRIMEKNIT and BOOST elements take on varying shades of white, setting the stage for red-and-green accents referencing Tomatohead. Profile 3-Stripes and ultra boost text on the lateral heel get a saucy update, with laces also indulging in ruby-colored flair. A checkerboard pattern lands on the insole and outsole, with the latter favoring a white-and-green color scheme. A Tomatohead emblem, first seen in-game in April 2018, rounds out the special collaboration on the tongue.

Firm Adidas.com release details haven't been disclosed by either party involved as of yet, but that's expected to change by the start of autumn. In the meantime, enjoy official photos of the video game-inspired UltraBOOST.
