Although adidas is laser-focused on global football ahead of the 2026 World Cup™ tournament, the German sportswear brand continues to put together new product for other sports and disciplines. Soon, the Three Stripes and fashion designer Jeremy Scott will relaunch their winged "Money" Forum Low as a pair of U.S. football cleats.
Last seen in 2021 in both Low and High trims, the collaborative footwear project captures the eyebrow-raising partnership that was adidas Originals x Jeremy Scott throughout the early-to-mid-2010s. The former Moschino-creative director's takes on classic Three Stripes products were co-signed by the likes of Kanye West and A$AP Rocky, making these designs "grails" within streetwear circles. The latest reissue of the "Money" Forum harkens back to the collaboration's heyday, but breathes new life into the partnership.
Visually, the impending launch keeps the adidas Forum Low's aesthetic intact. U.S. dollar bills with Scott's portrait on them cover the entirety of the upper, which feature detachable wing-like overlays that hang off the mid-foot. The sole unit, however, abandons its innovative setup for basketball in favor of studs made for the U.S. football gridiron. Scott and adidas' iconic style, then, becomes viable to fly around the field with a blend of heritage and modern performance.
