Notorious British rocker and flagrant bad-bay Liam Gallagher is a long-time adi-head — which makes his upcoming collaboration with the Three Stripes one of the most authentic partnerships we’ve seen in a very, very, (very) long time. The Oasis co-frontman has teamed up with the German footwear giant to deliver this special edition and instant classic — the Liam Gallagher x adidas Padiham LG SPZL — and it’s done in one of the most tasteful finishes we’ve seen in 2019.

Featuring a fine light cream suede upper with buttery leather eyestays, heel overlays, and midfoot branding stripes, the pair comes capped off with Gallagher’s visage stamped on the tongue in black, and a gold foil hit on the lateral midfoot.

When asked about the shoe’s design process, Spezial director Gary Aspden quipped “I have known Liam for over 20 years and we have always got on. He is one of the people who has worn and supported what we do with adidas Spezial since day one so this collaboration evolved organically.”

Gallagher is set to release a new album titled “Why Me? Why Not?” next month, and these new adidas shoes will precede it, releasing on August 30th at the select stores listed below, as well as adidas.com for $120.
