Lionel Messi and his Inter Miami squad might currently be in third place in the MLS' Eastern Conference, but the Argentine international and his squad continue to be one of the League's most popular clubs. For its next creative endeavor for the former FC Barcelona starter, Adidas Football has reimagined the F50 Elite FG boot in a vibrant makeover inspired by Miami.
Officially clad in the same "Flash Aqua" that's appeared on the Adizero Adios Pro 4 marathon racer, the pair demands attention even when not worn by Messi. The SPEEDSKIN upper delivers high-performance in a lightweight package. The bulk of the top-half indulges in two shades of the aforementioned blue, while profile 3-Stripes, F50 branding, and Messi's logo on the spine deviate in an equally-bold "Lucid Pink." Inner lining, tongues, and lacing follow suit, evoking images of South Beach and Inter Miami's home kit.
Underfoot, the firm ground football boot takes notes from the newly-surfaced Adilette slide. The SPEEDFRAME outsole delivers robust, reliable traction without sacrificing the Floridian makeover. A Messi wordmark underneath the forefoot is accompanied by a gradient donning the "Flash Aqua/Lucid Pink" tones from up-top. Together, each aforementioned element comes together to breathe new life into the elite footwear product for the beautiful game.
Enjoy detailed shots of Messi's Miami-appropriate F50 boot ahead. Firm Adidas.com release details haven't been disclosed by the brand as of yet, but that's expected to change soon. Pairs will hit Adidas.com on April 17 in everything from Elite to indoor.
