Marimekko x adidas Ultra BOOST Arrives June 15th

Over the past 18 months, adidas has tapped collaborators from all walks of life and business. From link-ups with vintage clothier Sean Wotherspoon to a German ceramic master Meissen. Now the Three Stripes nods Finnish design house Marimekko to apply their signature flair to the Ultra BOOST DNA.

Known widely for their use of bold prints and saturated color, the label has taken a relatively more reserved approach to their link-up with adidas. They’ve utilized their oversized Räsymatto dot print — one which draws inspiration from the rows in a community garden — and presents it in monochrome across the entirety of the wove upper. Matching black and white flow on throughout, including the two-tone semi-translucent caging and Three Stripes, sole units, and co-branded tongues to complete the design.
