Melting Sadness is responsible for some of the most playful collaborations under the Three Stripe banner — and that’s saying something coming from a roster that includes Jeremy Scott and Kerwin Frost. After a handful of recent releases, the Zhang Quan-lead label will return to adidas for a two-pack of multi-medium Forum Lows,

Boasting a DIY patchwork-like aesthetic, the two pairs draw from the design’s original lines, though its paneling is unique. Fine toweling-like uppers are overlayed by a myriad of materials, from corduroy to nubuck, to topography-lasered Three Stripes — the latter of which are tacked on via bold chrome studs. There’s a ton of tack stitching and other fine details, as well as co-branded tongue tags, insoles, and heel swatches. The colors are in your face, too, with each pair completed in a mix of earthy browns and pastel compliments completing their respective designs.
