Since Chicago’s own Pusha T inked a deal with the Three Stripes earlier this year, fans of the rapper have been patiently waiting for his collaborative debut with the brand. With only a handful of his “Nose Candy Mandy” Ozweegosfinding their way to fans at Coachella, his debut Gucci-themed release now canceled, and his Call of Duty: Modern Warfare pair only available for a few hardcore gamers — we’ve been left wanting. But now we can finally see light at the end of the month-long tunnel, with Push’s first adidas sneaker (now updated to two sneakers) finally primed for a retail release. Surfacing today is this two-piece adidas Ozweego pack dubbed “King Push”, with one arriving in deep teal, black, green and yellow, and the other in black, neon, maroon and gum.
Like the now-canceled pair, this too rocks a woven mesh upper and tumbled leather tongue, but opts for supple suede overlays at the lacestays and ankle. The latter arrives in slightly lighter shades than the weave, which matches the full-length adiPrene midsole. Bold contrasting colors are used on the outsoles, liners, TPU piping, neoprene heel panel, and Three Stripe ribbon, the last listed coming trimmed in a vibrant yellow. and volt green respectively. Completing the designs are co-branded King Push insoles.
