The adidas Running roster is ready to introduce the Supernova Rise 4, the latest addition to the brand's everyday running shoe lineup. Although savvy footwear-enthusiasts had been anticipating the comfortable sneaker to join the Three Stripes catalog by Spring 2027, what many couldn't have expected is for the fourth Supernova Rise silhouette to debut the company's recently-patented curved 3-Stripes logo.
On Oct. 2, 2026, the German sportswear juggernaut submitted an application for a new image trademark in the European Union, United Kingdom, and United States of America. The application (Serial Number: 50142442) has the following official description: "The mark consists of three curved, tapered stripes." Although the patent request is waiting to be examined, the "three curved, tapered stripes" has already begun appearing on adidas product. All signs point to the Predator 27 football boots, for example, being a marquee design to feature the new 3-Stripes branding.
Diehard adidas fans might think of the Sobakov silhouette of the late 2010s upon seeing the curved logo—which itself draws inspiration from the Predator Precision of the year 2000—but close inspection reveals that the new mark is truly different.

adidas' October 2026 trademark application covers "Clothing, footwear, headgear." As of writing, the brand hasn't commented on the curved, tapered logo, but it's gearing up to showcase the new logo on a slew of product offerings during 2027.
Although the new mark is prominent on the Supernova Rise 4 running shoe, it's far from being the star of the silhouette. Instead, the latest comfort-driven daily trainer brings together a number of performance-first specifications to create a plush, reliable experience underfoot.
The tech specs breakdown of the Supernova Rise 4 is as follows:
- PRIMEWEAVE engineered upper: Breathable woven construction with soft eyestays & a padded tongue
- Full-length DREAMSTRIKE+ foam midsole: Specifically tuned for the ideal balance of comfort & support
- Dual LIGHTTRAXION & Continental™ rubber outsole: Provides reliable grip mile after mile; a strategically-placed Lateral Landing Platform in the heel is designed to complement the natural foot strike
There is an 8 millimeter heel-to-toe drop in the Supernova Rise 4 (37–29 for Men, 36–28 for Women). The shoe weighs around 9.38 ounces (266 grams) in a Men's U.S. size 9.

As with other adidas Supernova Rise offerings, the Supernova Rise 4 is the brand's proposal for everyday running. The sneaker's combination of padded upper, plush cushioning, and durable tread make for a daily workhorse weather running more than a handful of miles at a time or walking/standing on your feet all day.
The neutral road runner is promised in a handful of colorways during its lifecycle. Early images of the silhouette showcase pairs in "Ice Lavender" (Women's), "Ice Blue" (Men's), and classic white-and-black ensembles for both Men and Women.
Enjoy detailed shots of the Supernova Rise 4 ahead. Pairs are expected to launch via adidas.com over the next few months. It's expected that a $140 price tag remains from the Supernova Rise 3.
