adidas are shifting gears.

adidas have partnered with the Whitaker Car Group to flex their design flair on their modernixed NMD Racer, giving the silhouette a touch of prestige that the Whitaker Car Club demands.

The Whitaker Car Club aims to provide a platform for a wide array of car lovers, from sports cars to Formula 1 racing, and that’s what adidas have tried to incorporate into their collaborative launch.

“motion blue” details drape the white Primeknit upper. A checkerboard motif hits the sneaker’s insole — a must have for any racing themed sneaker. The Car Club’s branding replaces the original “Brand With the Three Stripes” text on the heel loops, with a luxurious leather heel cap rounding up the sneakers luxe vibe.
