Combining the three stripe icon the Superstar – which is celebrating its 50th birthday – onto the futuristic bones of ZX 8000 silhouette with a vintage aesthetic that gives the appearance its been sitting in someone’s cupboard for the last half-century.
The imitation aged look is executed in great detail over the entire build, the tonal off-white worn leather upper plays host to the silver three stripes and heel overlays to cement its unmistakeable adidas branding. A matured shell toe box and yellow Torsion midsole really hammers home the seasoned tired appeal, but where the rubber meets the road lies a black rubber outsole offering the only “new” element to the construction. Black Torsion dubrae and tongue branding completes the look for this out-of-the-box colorway.
