Since relaunching in celebration of its 30th anniversary, the Adidas Predator football boot franchise has been at the center of numerous top moments across the sport's many levels. Off-the-pitch, the line has reminded diehard and casual fans alike of a golden age for "the beautiful game," one that combined bold, innovative design, world-class performances, and a culture that permeated throughout cities around the world.
In the lead up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ tournament, the Three Stripes has handled the Predator series with care, outfitting the likes of Jude Bellingham and Trent Alexander-Arnold in the Elite FT FG boot. Furthermore, iconic figures and tastemaker brands alike have gotten a chance to reimagine pairs for audiences at the intersection of sport and fashion, be they fans of David Beckham or Ronnie Fieg's Kith imprint. The latest burgeoning institution to rework the beloved franchise is Diana Al Shammari (ديانا الشمري)—also known as The Football Gal.
Born and raised in Baghdad but now based in London, Al Shammari has been "[r]einventing football shirts through the art of embroidery" since 2017. Her work has been championed by a loyal following over the years, but some of her biggest looks arrived in the past three years with the help of French footballer Jules Koundé and musician Joe Jonas. Her embroidery has landed on shirts representative of all parts of the world and now lands on Predator Elite and Predator Freestyle offerings.
Officially clad in "Off White/Easy Pink/Pure Ruby" color schemes, the Adidas Football collaboration sees The Football Gal's signature elements across heritage designs. Floral graphics appear throughout both silhouettes, with Fold-over Tongues donning the most prominent flower embroidery of the presentations; the indoor-friendly pair also sees Al Shammari add her custom motifs along the profiles. Footbeds also don colorful graphics, contrasting what's typically associated with footwear styles for the fall and winter seasons.
The Adidas Predator Elite FT FG maintains all of its performance-first details intact: HYBRIDTOUCH upper construction, CONTROLFRAME 2.0 sole plate, and STRIKESKIN zones. Both sport-informed models see the football gal branding on the lateral profile, cementing the London-based creative in the annals of Three Stripes history.
Enjoy detailed photos of the Predator Elite boots and Predator Freestyle by The Football Gal ahead. Pairs are expected to release via Adidas.com beginning Tuesday, Nov. 4, for around $280 and $110, respectively.
